Phil Mickelson is back to Twitter and he’s sharing the latest hot takes.
The six-time major champion has become more vocal on Twitter in recent weeks. He interacts with fans over a range of topics and has been more vocal. After the opening round at the PIF Saudi Arabian International at Royal Greens Golf and Country Club, Saudi Arabia, Mickelson shot even par, he addressed former NFL star Danny Woodhead with an interesting topic.
Woodhead quoted a tweet by Woodhead that stated that if there were a Ryder Cup-style tournament between the PGA Tour & LIV Golf, with Tiger Woods & Phil as captains it would be the most viewed golf event in history. Woodhead said he was there for it.
It would also be a popular idea with many fans. Mickelson even thinks it would make a great movie.
He doesn’t believe it would be a big competition.
Although it sounds fantastic, we would rule them so well and it would be over so quickly that tv could fill an hour of dead-time. It’s not happening right now because of that.
