No matter how you feel about Phil Mickelson’s short game, it is undeniable that it is one of the greatest of all times.
Yesterday, Phil shared a video on his Twitter account that gave chipping tips.
Let’s set aside our personal feelings for a minute and focus on improving your short-game. pic.twitter.com/hpoxtXfSko

Lefty starts the video with, “Like or not, you short game needs some help.” It needs help.”
Mickelson then summarized the three things that you should do when chipping.
1.) 1.)
2.) Hands in front of club to create an inverse line.
3.) If you want to play high, position the ball forward. If you want low, align the ball with your back foot.
Mickelson’s fourth tip in the video is to “start the turn” with your shoulders while you are chipping. He explains how by starting the turn with the shoulders, you can reduce the “hand movement” that many players try to avoid when chipping.
