NAPLES (Fla.) — The 2022 QBE Shootout will be held at Tiburon Golf Club, Florida’s Gulf Coast. It is an event unlike any other on PGA Tour.
Greg Norman, who founded the club, has hosted the event for the past two decades . This unique event features 12 teams of two competing in a 54-hole shootout. The format consists of a scramble and modified alternate shot, along with four-ball to determine the winner.
Nelly Korda (who is playing in the event) and Lexi Thompson are the stars of the field. It’s the first ever time that two women professionals have participated in the event. Thompson has previously played. Max Homa (16th in the field) is the highest-ranking men’s professional.
