SUPERSTITION MOUNTAIN (AZ) — Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club will host the 2023 LPGA full-field event.
After two events in Florida, the season’s opening event was followed by the LPGA Drive On Championship. This is the first opportunity for many tour pros to compete in this season’s LPGA Drive On Championship. This is also the debut of nearly two dozen rookies .
Six of the top 10 Rolex Rankings players are in the field of 144.
Superstition Mountain was opened in 1999. It consists of two courses, Lost Gold, and Prospector. This week’s tournament course is Prospector. Prospector is a par 72 and measures 6,690 yard. This week’s Aon Risk Reward challenge hole is the par-5 18th.
This week’s total purse is $1,750,000. The first-place check is worth $262,500.
