ST. AUGUSTINE (Florida) — The World Golf Hall of Fame and Museum is closing its doors after 25 years. It is located in a town about a quarter-hour away from the PGA Tour headquarters.
During its run, the complex hosted 16 induction ceremonies and 76 new members. It also featured special exhibits that honored the greatest players of the game, entertainers, and U.S. presidents.
The USGA Golf House Pinehurst is set to open its doors in late spring 2024. A large part of the contents of the museum will be shipped to Pinehurst Resort, North Carolina.
We are feeling nostalgic about the upcoming closure and took a trip down Memory Lane to look at some of its greatest moments.
