Leona Maguire is a face of European women’s golf.
Maguire’s amateur playing career was filled with accolades. This long list includes WGCA player and ACC freshman player of year, as well as the 2017 British Ladies Amateur Championship. She was also named Golfweek‘s top amateur female golfer in the 2010s.
Maguire turned pro in June 2018 and made her LPGA debut in 2020. was awarded rookie of the Year honors.
Maguire made her debut in the Tour, and has since earned more than $2.5 million. She also won the 2022 Drive On Championship and was a key member of the 2021 European Solheim Cup team, going 4-0-1.
Maguire has two top-eight finishes among 2022 majors, and three top five finishes between 2021-22. This Maguire is definitely one to watch as we move towards the 2023 majors.
