Since the 2000s, Paul Casey has been an integral part of European golf.
Casey started playing on the European Tour in 2001 after he won three consecutive Pac10 championships as well as two British Amateur titles. In August 2001, Casey won his first professional win at the Gleneagles Scottish PGA Championship.
In 2005, the Englishman was promoted to the PGA Tour and has since split his career between both tours. After racking up 13 wins around the world, Casey made his breakthrough on the PGA Tour in 2009 with a win at The Shell Houston Open.
Casey has been an integral part of the Ryder Cup throughout his career. Casey was part of three Euros winning teams in 2005, 2006, 2008, 18 & 20. His career record is 4-7-5.
Casey was offered a place on the LIV Golf Tour in 2021. His European and PGA Tour victories are now over with Casey having won 15 times in Europe and three PGA Tour wins. He also has seven other wins worldwide.
