DUBLIN (Ohio) — The Golden Bear, and the color Yellow are well represented at the merchandise tent and main pro-shop at Muirfield Village Golf Club.
It is appropriate to pay homage to Jack Nicklaus and the color shirt that he wore during the final round at the 1986 Masters to honor a friend. Jack’s Place is the PGA Tour’s annual stomp at his childhood stomping ground since 1976. This week, it will be a designated event.
Seven of the top 10 athletes and 28 of top 35 are on the field. The merchandise tent is full of t-shirts, hats and even hoodies. The most controversial item may be a sweatshirt from Camp David that says “the MT”. This is the first time the Memorial Tournament has been called by this nickname.
