The world’s best golfers have gathered at Royal Liverpool to compete in the Open Championship, the final major for men of 2018.
Cam Smith is the defending champion following his last-minute victory at St. Andrews over Rory McIlroy. Smith won his last appearance at LIV London.

McIlroy won the Claret Jug in Hoylake, nine years ago. This was his third major victory. McIlroy also won his last outing, the Genesis Scottish Open, like Smith.
