GolfWRX was present at the Dell Technologies Match Play in Austin. Players had a week of preparation before the start of a long week.
GolfWRXers know that the tournament is a match-play event. This means that players will compete in head-to–head matches instead of the traditional stroke-play format. The tournament has produced many great champions over the years, such as Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods. Scottie Scheffler defeated Kevin Kisner 3 and 4 to claim the $2.1million winner’s share.
Austin Country Club had six WITBs, including the World No. There were six WITBs, including the World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and five general galleries. There were also several interesting pull-outs, including a pair Tom Kim’s Scotty Cameron putters.
