Golfweek reported that several major manufacturers of golf equipment had added new clubs to the USGA’s and R&A’s Conforming Driver lists before the Sentry Tournament of Champions, the first PGA Tour event of 2023. This included the Callaway Paradym driver, the Cobra Aerojet driver, and the TaylorMade stealth 2 driver.
This allowed many marquee players to make equipment adjustments and add new gear to their bags. The PGA Tour’s first full field event, the Sony Open in Hawaii next week, will see more players putting their clubs on the green with new drivers or irons.
