Photos: Tommy Fleetwood’s unique, emotional defense of the DP World Tour title three years ago

Nov, 2022

Tommy Fleetwood only shot one round in 60s this week in South Africa. It was just in time to secure the title defense that had been three years in the making.

The 31-year old Englishman shot a final round 5-under 67 at Gary Player Country Club, Sun City, South Africa on Sunday to win the 2022 Nedbank Golf Challenge. He also defended his 2019 title. Due to the lingering effects from the COVID-19 pandemic, the DP World Tour event has been cancelled the past two years.
