Ping enters the apparel and accessories space with the support of Hideoki bespoke and ‘The 19th Collection.
The limited edition collection of high-end items honors both brands’ legacies and celebrates golf. The 60-piece collection, which was crafted in Atlanta and manufactured in Italy is now available online.
This collection is aimed at sophistication and timeless workmanship. The collection includes clothing, footwear, and lifestyle accessories. Bespoke and Ping used custom tailoring, handcrafted leathers and unique fabrics to try and redefine the conventional narrative about golf culture. Golfers are more concerned with the quality and technology of their equipment than they are with the apparel.
Dedrick T. Thomas, CEO of Hideoki Bespoke, said, “As the appeal of golf grows, it is important that it progresses to greater diversity and inclusivity, and also becomes part the culture both on and off course.”
We’re thrilled to see our collaboration with Ping come to fruition. Bespoke said that the partnership, which is based on a passion for innovation and authenticity, empowers people to feel and look their best in their daily lives.
The Atlanta-based design house gives each client the opportunity to make an impactful statement about their status, heritage and aspirations. Hideoki and Ping support historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), with a $1 million ongoing collaboration with Texas Southern University and other initiatives planned.
Andy Solheim is the Executive Vice President of Ping. He said, “Ping looks forward to working with Hideoki Bespoke in order to reach a larger and more diverse audience of golfers.”
This collaboration is a great way to continue our commitment to grow the game, by offering golfers the best quality, most innovative products and custom-made items available. Solheim said that their team shared our passion for tackling things in unconventional and different ways. This partnership is a great chance for both brands.
