TaylorMade has joined a partnership with PopStroke Entertainment Group, Tiger Woods and other companies. PopStroke Entertainment Group was founded by Greg Bartoli (a former Wall Street executive), and has grown to be a top-rated putting entertainment company among golfers in four years.

In 2019, PopStroke opened its first Florida location in Port St. Lucie. Woods was then added to the co-ownership in 2020. Woods’ TGR Design renovated Port St. Lucie’s course last year. The company has since opened new locations in Fort Myers, Orlando, and Sarasota. The company also has a location in Houston, and two locations under construction in Arizona.

Each PopStroke venue will now be equipped with TaylorMade special edition golf balls that patrons can use on the putting green and take home as a souvenir. To enhance the golfing experience, TaylorMade will also offer premium TaylorMade rentals putters.

Bartoli stated that TaylorMade is an exciting partner as they continue to offer a unique putting experience and dining experience for golfers of all abilities. “The combination PopStroke Tiger, TaylorMade and Tiger not only gives us unique international visibility, but also accelerates our trajectory as the leading brand in golf entertainment.”

TaylorMade CEO and President David Abeles stated that TaylorMade was inspired by the Pop Stroke family orientation.

Abeles stated that after seeing the interaction between golfers of all skill levels and generations, he knew it was something he wanted to be part of. We believe that this investment will benefit not only our company but the future of golf, thanks to Greg Bartoli’s vision and TaylorMade’s past with Tiger Woods.

PopStroke, in addition to upscale putting, offers dining with a full service restaurant, multiple bars, private events spaces, and a playground for children.

PopStroke plans to expand in Florida with new locations in Delray Beach and Wellington. Bartoli stated that PopStroke Delray Beach was just opened and is currently opening PopStroke Wellington. PopStroke is currently looking for a location near Palm Beach International Airport near Drive Shack to open its third Palm Beach County operation.

Woods, who owns a house on Jupiter Island as well as a Jupiter restaurant, expressed excitement about PopStroke’s rapid expansion. This includes another PGA Tour star.

Woods stated that TaylorMade was a trusted and great partner over many years and that he couldn’t wait to expand his partnership with David and his team. “I have spent my whole career developing the game of golf. TaylorMade will improve the guest experience at PopStroke, as we continue to introduce millions to the game I love.”

PopStroke’s investment means that Abeles will be joining the Board of Directors. This Board also includes Christopher Hubman, TGR Ventures CFO, and Pete Bevacqua, Chairman of NBC Sports Group.
