Crushers GC in DORAL, Fla., has found that playing well in the LIV Golf League pays off.
Bryson deChambeau and his team won the 2023 LIV Team Championship with a score of 11 under par. They also claimed the top prize, $14 million, at Trump National Doral’s Blue Monster. Bubba Watson and RangeGoats GC were runner-ups. Joaquin Niemann, Torque GC, and the 4Aces GC, led by Dustin Johnson last year, finished third and fourth, respectively.
The final round on Sunday counts all four scores, unlike the regular season events of LIV where only the lowest score is counted. Teams that lost on Saturday were competing for Tier 2, while those who lost in the semifinals competed for Tier 1.
Remember, the money you win as a team is returned to your team. The teams get 60% of the prize money in the Team Championship and the players each take home 10%. It’s not bad for three days of work (at the most).
This is how much each team made this past week in Miami.
