Playing well on the PGA Tour pays off. Tony Finau, this week’s champion, can attest to that.

The 33-year old won the 2023 Mexico Open on Sunday at Vidanta. It was his sixth career PGA Tour win and second this season. Finau won the 2023 Mexico Open at Vidanta on Sunday with a 5-under-66. He earned $1,386,000 and the title. The defending champion Jon Rahm came in second, three shots behind at 21 under, and will receive $839,300. Rahm has now set a new record for the most money earned in a season by a PGA Tour player. Brandon Wu, the third-place finisher, finished tied with Finau in last year’s final standings. He earned $531.300.
