Prize money for the 2023 U.S. Women’s Open at Pebble Beach

Jul, 2023

The U.S. Women’s Open purse doubled in the last two years to $11million, making it the largest purse for women’s golf. Allisen Corpuz won this week’s tournament and received $2 million. This is the same amount as the biggest winner’s cheque in women’s golf. Lydia Ko won $2m at the CME Group Tour Championship last year.

Consider that the purse for next weekend’s Dana Open totals $1,750,000.

How will Corpuz use that large check?

She said, “I’m not sure yet. I might upgrade a couple of flights.” “I bought a new car in January. I would say that’s my biggest purchase of the year.”

Top 20 positions on this week’s money list earned six-figure cheques, which can be a season-changing amount of money for many players.

The players who did not make the cut for this week will receive $8,000 in reimbursements to cover their expenses.
