It is said that heroes should never be met.
This implies that you will not live up to what you expect and that the bad experience will ruin everything. Although that may hold some truth, it should be noted that they did not add a caveat to the adage – unless Arnold Palmer is your hero.

Palmer is a great person to spend time with, and the Arnold Palmer Invitational’s first meeting with him left a lasting impression.
