Lauren Hartlage made the biggest move of the day, moving from T-60 up to 16th place with a final 63.

Hartlage said, “I had to go back to Q-School the last two years to get my card back.” “I’m excited to be back on the LPGA course this time because I feel I’m learning more about how it works.”

This week, LPGA veteran Jennifer Song was joined by her good friend Amy Yang. Yang won the CME Group Tour Championship and $2 million as first prize last month. Song tied for 17th place to get her card back.

Song said, “I got 200 percent more confidence from her.” It’s been a long, stressful week. I knew that I could play the game well, but I wanted to relax. A friend was exactly what I needed.

Yang continued: “You’re right, Jennifer. She prepared everything. Her game was ready to play at home. I only needed to talk about other things and make her comfortable.

I really didn’t do anything else.
