Red Rocks Country Club, Morrison, Colorado – just southwest of Denver — has reopened after a renovation done by Kevin Atkinson from Atkinson Design Group or Landscapes Unlimited.
Landscapes Unlimited managed the grassing, irrigation, and maintenance of the cart paths. The multi-phased program was part of a master plan.
A 45,000-square foot putting green was added to the area near the clubhouse. It serves as a 19th hole and gathering spot.
“Collaborating to Kevin and Red Rocks’ team to reimagine course layout, construction, and infrastructure resulted a great golf experience for members, and guests,” said Dave Linngren. He is vice president of the West Region at Landscapes Unlimited, which is based in Nebraska and specializes in course development, renovation, and construction. Each hole is a strategic management challenge, but it’s not designed or constructed to bite golfers.
