TSN reported on Wednesday that DP World Tour’s chief executive Keith Pelley will be leaving his position to take a new job at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment. MLSE owns the NHL’s Toronto Maple Leafs and the NBA’s Toronto Raptors as well as Toronto’s MLS, CFL, and MLS franchises.
The deal could be announced by Thursday.

Pelley has played a major role in the negotiations with Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) and LIV Golf, as the landscape of professional golf continues its evolution.
TSN reports MLSE is naming Pelley as president and chief executive.
Pelley succeeds Michael Friisdahl who was MLSE President and CEO between 2015-2022.
