Lowry was tied for first at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship two weeks ago. He fired a 76 Sunday and lost by nine shots. Martin and Lowry made the final decision after he missed the cut at the Dubai Desert Classic last week.

According to the Irish Independent, Lowry will be playing five consecutive weeks on the PGA Tour starting next week at WM Phoenix Open and ending at Players Championship.
