Having stepped down from his role as a commentator at CBS less than a year ago, Sir Nick Faldo is set to make a comeback to the booth for next week’s Masters Tournament, as reported by The Telegraph.
Per The Telegraph, Faldo will be part of Sky Sports’ coverage of the event in the UK. The publication also reveals that it’s expected that the 65-year-old will also commentate for Sky at the Open at Hoylake in July.
This will be the 18th consecutive year that Faldo has been a commentator at the Masters, a place where the Englishman enjoyed great success as a player, winning the tournament three times.
Though the comeback may surprise some, the Englishman retweeted a post on Tuesday evening regarding the initial report from a dual account he shares with his wife, stressing: “SNF (Sir Nick Faldo) said he was retiring from FULL TIME Broadcasting.”

So it appears that fans can look forward to hearing the 6-time major champion’s analysis beyond just next week’s first major.
