LIV Golf devised a unique way to announce its 12 rosters in three days last week. We now know why Friday’s announcement of the final four rosters was delayed until Monday.
A report in Telegraph states that LIV Golf made a last-minute purchase of world No. 34 Thomas Pieters is a DP World Tour member, who expressed his dissatisfaction at not being in the field at PGA Tour’s Genesis Invitational.

This is a good addition to LIV, but a big loss for the 2023 European Ryder Cup squad that’s already struggling from former captains and players who left for LIV.
Pieters would become the third player to join LIV before its 2023 season opener next Monday in Mexico, . Sebastian Munoz and Mito Pereira are already LIV members.
