According To The Telegraph Mito Pereira (who missed the PGA Championship in 2017 after a wrong tee shot at the 72nd green) is expected to join The LIV Golf League for 2023. Pereira will be joining his Chilean friend Joaquin Niemann.
LIV Golf has been quiet ever since its inaugural season, which ended in Miami with a team title. However, sometimes good news is better than bad news. It is rumored that several high-ranking executives have left LIV Golf, including Atul Khosla, Chief Operating Officer.
LIV Golf has not yet released its 2023 schedule. However, has added a few PGA Tour stops.
Pereira finished every weekend at the Shriners with a T-4 finish in three Tour starts this year. Pereira currently ranks 44th in the Official World Golf Ranking.
