Jun, 2023

In the history of the PGA Tour, only 12 golfers have ever shot better scores.

On Saturday, he shot a 10-under-par 60 during the third round at TPC Riverside in Cromwell. He birdied the No. The No. 8 was the final hole to reach 60. He almost made 59 with a chip on the final hole.

Fowler wanted to be the first PGA Tour player to shoot 59 since Scottie Schreffler shot 59 at the 2020 Northern Trust. Jim Furyk, who shot 12 under par at TPC Riverside in 2016, was the only player to shoot 58 on Tour.

Denny McCarthy also shot 60 in the first round. Fowler’s not the only one who has reached that milestone so far this week.

Fowler began his round with the back nine, and birdied at Nos. Fowler finishes his round with birdies at Nos. 12, 13, 15, 17, and 18. He also scores 5-under-par. He also catches the Nos. After 11 holes, he is 7 under par. He shot 60 after three consecutive pars, an eagle, and a birdie. It was his best round ever on the PGA Tour.

Fowler is now 15 under par overall. He’s tied for third place, while the leaders have to complete the majority of the back nine.
