Rory McIlroy is the reigning champion of the RBC Canadian Open.
In 2019, the Northern Irishman beat Shane Lowry and Webb Simpson with a 9-under-par 61 in his final round. Last year, McIlroy beat Justin Thomas and Tony Finau with an 8 under final round. In 2020 and 2021, the event was cancelled due to COVID-19.
McIlroy will be joined by Sam Burns and Matt Fitzpatrick at the 2023 Oakdale Golf and Country Club. Tyrrell Hatton and Shane Lowry, as well as Cameron Young and Shane Lowry, will also play. Three Canadians have also won on the Tour this year: Corey Conners (who has been ranked number one in the world), Mackenzie Hughes, and Adam Svensson.
