Rose Zhang is a rising star in the women’s game since she turned professional earlier this year. She won the Mizuho Americas Open on her debut and finished in the top 10 in three of the major championships that she competed in.
Sahith Theegala is yet to win a major tournament, but his charismatic personality and appearances on Full Swing have made him a popular player on the PGA Tour.
The two young golfers will team up at the PGA Tour and LPGA event co-sanctioned by Tiburon Golf Course in Naples, Florida. this is the Grant Thornton Invitational.
There are already other teams announced including Tony Finau/Nelly Korda; Rickie Fowler/Jessica Korda; and Corey Conners/Brooke Henderson.
The three-day event is scheduled for Friday, December 8 through Sunday Dec. 10.
