She was victorious once more by the time she dropped her final putt on the 18th hole. Zhang has made it a habit to set records in her Stanford career.

Zhang has won the NCAA Individual title for the second consecutive year. She shot a 4-under-68 without a single bogey on Monday to finish at 10 under, beating USC’s Catherine Park and San Jose State’s Lucia Lopez Ortega by just one shot.

Zhang is the first woman in history to win consecutive NCAA individual titles.

This is also another gem in her crown after a spectacular year. This is her eighth win in 10 starts in this season, and her 12th in her career. She has the most wins of any Stanford golfer ever. Tiger Woods had 11, Maverick McNealy, and Patrick Rodgers all had 11.

The Cardinal also secured the top seed for the match play which starts on Tuesday. Stanford will face the No. The 8-seed Pepperdine has a chance of winning its second consecutive team championship.
