Rose Zhang, a rising star in the LPGA Maybank Championship, has the 54-hole lead with 18 under after her second 7-under-65 of the week.

“I feel great. After signing her card, Zhang told the press that she felt “really great” about the opportunity to enter the final round of the tournament with a small lead.
“I’m going to make sure that I have fun, that I have a game plan and that every moment is enjoyable.”

Zhang has not finished in the top 25 of her six previous starts. Her last finish was T-34 in the BMW Ladies Championship. If she wins, it will be her second LPGA victory in 12 professional appearances.
Atthaya Thtikul and Jasmine Suwannapura tied for second, a shot ahead of Zhang. Sei Young Kim alone is in fourth place at 15 under. Nasa Hataoka is followed by Megan Khang, Peiyun chien and Nasa Khang at 14 under.
