Rose Zhang Appreciation Week is in Scottsdale, Arizona. Zhang’s Stanford sophomore season has been nothing less than mind-blowing, even before she competes in the NCAA Championship. It’s hard to describe this season as anything other than special.
She’s still not finished. Grayhawk Golf Club is the place to be if she wants to win her second NCAA championship and cap off one of the best seasons in college golf history.
The first of four rounds in stroke-play will be played on Friday. After Sunday’s round the field will be reduced from 30 to 15, and on Monday, an individual national champion is crowned. The eight top teams after four rounds of stroke-play will move on to match play. The championship match takes place on Wednesday.
Zhang’s amateur career is a remarkable feat.
