The DP World Tour dominates online content compared to the other golf tours and governing bodies. It’s not surprising that Ryder Cup Europe posted a funny video on Saturday.
The video shows the winning 2023 captain, Luke Donald (who will be captain in 2025), polishing seven Ryder Cups. This is likely to represent Team Europe’s seven wins in the biannual bash with the Americans over the past 20 years.
Donald said: “Merry christmas from everyone at Ryder Cup Europe, and a happy couple of years more.”
The event for 2025 will take place from September 25-28, at Bethpage Black Farmingdale in New York. Donald, as mentioned above, will be captaining the Europeans for another two years. The U.S. has yet to name a captain.

The video pays homage to the best chants of the 2023 edition, where the Europeans won, including team Europe and Rory McIlroy’s celebration song, “the USA’s terrified, Europe’s burning.”
