Wednesday night, the 2023 Ryder Cup will begin at Marco Simone Golf Club (Italy) on Friday. But it was a formal evening. The Ryder Cup gala saw players and captains as well as their wives and girlfriends walk the red carpet.

The United States and European teams wore their best gear to the Spanish Steps in Rome, a landmark built between 1723-1726.
The Americans have the best record in the competition with a total of 27-14-2. Europe has an 11-9 advantage since 1979. The Americans haven’t won a match across the pond for 30 years.
