The Sentry Tournament of Champions doesn’t only appeal to champions. That’s okay.
There will be 40 players in the first event of the PGA Tour 2023, and 30 winners starting in 2022. The field was 38 players last year, with all of them tournament winners. Due to a change of qualifications, there are now 10 additional golfers in this field.

The tournament will be broadcast on NBC, Golf Channel and ESPN+ from Jan. 5-8.
Scottie Scheffler, Justin Thomas (PGA Championship), and Matthew Fitzpatrick(U.S. Open), will be among the three major winners of 2022. The tournament’s current champion is the only major winner from ’22.
