On Sunday, the 2023 Sony Open in Hawaii was decided at Waialae Country Club.
A Hayden Buckley birdie at No. 16 was cancelled out by Si Woo Kim’s chip in on the 17 hole, leaving the pair at 17 under.

Kim birdied the par-5 18 th to record a 6-under 64. This tied him for the lowest round of today and gave him a one shot advantage over Buckley, who was just a few hundred yards behind. Buckley missed the green with his approach and was forced to watch Kim celebrate the fourth victory on the PGA Tour. This is the first win since the 2021 American Express.
After a great start to the season, Kim made the Sony Open his first start of the year.
