LAKE ELMO (Minn.) — Tuesday’s second round of Annika Intercollegiate was characterized by sunshine and cloudy skies.

The Annika Intercollegiate, one of the most prestigious women’s college events on the golf calendar, is a field that is loaded. The defending national champion Wake Forest also holds the title of the tournament’s champion. After the second round, the Demon Deacons moved closer to South Carolina. After 36 holes, the Gamecocks are still in front.

The race for the individual championship is also tight. Nine players are within two shots or less of the leader, so the title will be up for grabs on Wednesday.
