Callaway’s 2+ Mini Driver was ranked on the USGA conforming lists this week.
The new blacked-out addition features a distinctive lack of branding, a Flash Face SS22 weight port, wing style shape on the sole with a recessed hole at the rear.
The club has 2+ Tour etched on its head and a loft of 10.5 degrees. Our members speculate that it may be a prototype of the mystery 2-wood’ Phil Mickelson carried in his bag during The Match 3.
Below is what Callaway 2+ Mini Drivers have to say about it. But, make sure you check out the whole discussion and leave your comments at the link.
- RCGA: “Interesting loft is 10.5*. You will need a smaller head and a heavier headweight in order to fit into the shafts of 43.5-44”.
- Lemonade: Let’s hope that this isn’t a tour-only offering.
- Viper4425 – “This club looks really great. I was just curious if someone would be carrying this along with a driver. Is this supposed to replace a 3-wood?
