We recently have been speculating about the Ping Blueprint S irons that we saw just a few weeks ago, but now we have the Blueprint T irons! The Blueprint T irons we spotted this week at the FedEx St. Jude. We don’t have any details on the technical changes or specs, but we can definitely speculate a few things from the photos.
Blade length almost looks a little stretched compared to the current Blueprint iron, but overall a still very compact head shape. Soles are narrow and should offer more skilled players solid turf interaction. The toplines are very thin and come to a sharper and more edge-like point out at the toe with the actual toe being a little rounded.
The 4-iron has just a slight bit of offset, and when you get down to the pitching wedge, there is very minimal offset, which should suit the eye of many golfers. Ping’s toe weight is included in these irons, and we can bet that it is combined with a non-removable hosel weight to keep the swingweight correct as well as increase the MOI of the head.
It looks like 13 MicroMax grooves on the 7-iron that should control spin from any lie and reduce the “flyers” you can get. Cosmetics are very subtle and even the back muscle blends well into the back of the club for a soft and clean look.
