SuperStroke unveils new Zenergy grip line for the PGA Tour

GolfWRX discovered a new lineup of SuperStroke “Zenergy” putter grips at the Cadence Bank Houston Open on Tuesday.

Arnie Cunningham is a SuperStroke Tour Rep who travels to weekly PGA Tour Events. He explained to GolfWRX the differences between the SuperStroke Zenergy grips and the Traxion grips. Cunningham has some thoughts, even though SuperStroke isn’t yet sharing all the tech details and a release date.

“We introduced the new Zenergy grips to the Cadence Bank Houston Open. We are updating the graphics and moving to a new Traxion line. It’s called Zenergy and has a ‘Z em>


“We have new, enhanced textures in our gripping zone. This is located primarily on the side of the putter grip. You will feel better. The grips now have an enhanced spine that is visible under the grips. This makes them feel a bit different. Some people will feel it a little thinner than the original Traxion spine. It will still feel like you know where your hands are. It’s just not as obvious .”


“Then, we focused on improving material. With our grips, the material has improved with each cycle. It makes the putter .”


“The new colors look amazing. Seven new colorways are available: A beautiful blue, a purple and a lot more of the classic grays, reds, and blacks we have always had. The orange-and blue is more racing-inspired [not Miami Dolphins]. This is the way that a lot of car colors are these days. Although it does look like the Miami Dolphins at first, the blue is lighter than the .”


“We have a soft launch in the works. It has received 100% of the feedback. Everyone loves it. There is not enough product at the moment to seed any more. We currently have two players in play who decided to get it on their gamer immediately: Taylor Pendrith (who just finished the Presidents Cup), has a Flatso 2.0, and Brent Grant, has a Pistol Tour. These are the two main players, but we could have more. It’s Tuesday .”


“That’s not all we’re doing. We’re dropping GT. Instead of Pistol GT Tour or Pistol GT1.0, Pistol GT 2.0 will be used. It’ll simply be Pistol 2.0 Tour, 2.0, Tour, and so on. We’ll be moving away from Traxion em>. It will switch to Zenergy for everything.
