Talor Gooch won his third LIV Golf League title with a birdie-birdie finish on Sunday. He beat Bryson deChambeau by one stroke.
The 31-year old had previously won in Australia, Singapore and Spain in successive weeks in April. He added to his total at the Saudi Arabian-backed circuit LIV Golf Andalucia in Valderrama.
Gooch finished at 12 under par with a 4-under-67, beating DeChambeau’s (68) score by just one shot. Brooks Koepka’s (68), meanwhile, was three shots behind. Sebastian Munoz was the sole fourth finisher at 6 under. Patrick Reed, Jason Kokrak, and David Puig were all T-5 at 4.
Joaquin Niemann’s Torque GC won the team competition by five shots, finishing at 16 under par, over Bubba Watson’s RangeGoats GC who finished at 12. DeChambeau’s Crushers finished third with 7 under.
