Golf fans have asked for years that a mixed-team tournament of high profile be added to the calendar. Soon, they will get their wish.
The first Grant Thornton Invitational will be held Dec. 8-10, at Tiburon Golf Course in Naples, Florida. A 32-player field, consisting of 16 teams, will include 24 of the 50 best players in the world, from the LPGA Tour and PGA Tour, competing for a purse of $4 million.

The field includes all five major winners of the 2023 LPGA. The format is a scramble over three days, followed by foursomes or modified fourball.
