The 2023 Grant Thornton Invitational will feature a ‘world class’ field of LPGA and PGA Tour players.

The Grant Thornton Invitational is the first mixed-team event to be held in Naples, Florida this December.

The 10 final teams were announced on Wednesday. They included Charley Hull, Justin Rose, Megan Khang, Denny McCarthy and Celine Boutier. Also included were Andrea Lee and Billy Horschel. Mel Reid and Russell Henley. Cheyenne Knight and Tom Hoge. Madelene Sagstrom and Ludvig berg. Allisen Corporation and Cameron Champ. Ruoning Yun and Nick Taylor. Leona Maguire & Lucas Glover.

The 10 pairs join the 6 previously confirmed at Grant Thornton. They are: Nelly Ko and Tony Finau; Lexi Thompson and Rickie Foller; Lydia Ko and Jason Day; Rose Zhang and Sahith theegala; Lilia Vu & Joel Dahmen, and Corey Conners & Brooke Henderson.

This accomplished field includes 24 of the top 50 ranked PGA Tour golfers in the world. They have a combined 141 career wins, 25 of which were achieved this year. The field includes 11 major champions, including the five major winners of the 2023 LPGA.

Rob Hartman, Grant Thornton’s tournament director said that the interest from both professional tours was very high. “We are excited about the world-class mixed teams and players coming to Naples in December,” he added. The final 10 teams include many of the game’s rising stars as well as current LPGA Tour and PGA Tour champions, and members from both the 2023 Solheim Cup team and Ryder Cup team. The tournament partners, fans and global TV audience will enjoy an exciting three-day competition.

The 16 mixed teams will be evenly composed of PGA and LPGA golfers. They will compete for a purse of $4 million. e
