Three PGA pros, an LPGA legend and a former PGA President will be inducted into the PGA of America 2023 Hall of Fame.
The PGA announced their next Hall of Fame inductees list on Monday. The official ceremony is set for November 8, at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort, Texas.
PGA members Robert Dolan (Middle Atlantic PGA Section), Don Wegrzyn, (Illinois PGA Section), and Herb Wimberly, (Sun Country PGA Section), will be inducted along with former president Suzy Whaley and CBS Sports Jim Nantz. The PGA Hall of Fame was founded in 1940.
John Lindert, PGA of America’s President, said: “It’s an incredible honor to celebrate and recognize our six inductees for their real impact on golf and all the individuals they have inspired along the way.”

Suzy Whaley, a Master Professional and PGA President since 2018, is the first female elected. She was a member of the LPGA from 1990 to 1993. In 2003, she qualified for the Greater Hartford Open.
