The 2023 Hero World Challenge course history, odds and predictions to win

Nov, 2023

The 2023 Hero World Challenge will be a great week of fun in Albany, Bahamas. Why? Why?

Tiger Woods returns to professional golf after the Masters tournament earlier this year. He made the cut, but withdrew Sunday morning because of aggravating plantar fasciitis.

Woods announced ten days later that he underwent “a subtalar-fusion procedure” to treat his post-traumatic osteoarthritis from his talus fracture.

Woods has started to come back to the limelight after months of being away. He caddied his son Charlie for four days, carrying the bag while walking — with no limp — at every step. His short course opened at Pebble Beach. He’s travelled a lot.

Thursday tee times

We’ve been waiting for his return to the tee, and it will be Thursday, at an event organized by TGR Foundation.

The field also includes 19 other high-ranking players including Justin Thomas (his good friend), Viktor Hovland (two-time defending champ), Scottie Schaffler, Jordan Spieth and Max Homa.

Woods isn’t the only one returning after a long layoff. Will Zalatoris will be making his first appearance in eight months, after having back surgery. He suffered a back problem at the 2022 BMW Championship, and later withdrawn before the 2023 Masters.
