The first round of the Mexico Grand Prix was full of action.
Austin Smotherman is leading at 8 under after shooting a 63, which included a chip-in on his final hole. Jon Rahm shot a 4-under-67 in his title defence, and played his final nine in 4 under. Tony Finau is tied for second place with a score of 6 under, having finished as runner-up in the last event.
You can’t ignore the player who made his PGA Tour debut and shot 6 under. Or the bee swarm that at one point took over the 10th Fairway.
This Friday will be a blast.
Here’s all you need to be aware of for the second round at Vidanta on Friday, 2023 Mexico Open. All times Eastern.
