The American team is notable for having the world’s No. Lilia Vu won two major championships in this season and is a rising star.

“I wanted to start off well.” Stacy Lewis, the U.S. Captain said that she wanted to make four good pairings. “It was more important to see who matched together than who was sitting. I wasn’t interested in who was seated, to be honest. I didn’t care who was sitting. “What are my four best options?”

Suzann Petersen, European captain, said: “I feel that I have these four pairings on paper since quite some time now.” It was more about in what order you played ’em.”

The four matches, the pairings and the eight players that will ride the Pine Pony for the first match session at the Solheim Cup 2023 are all listed below. Note: Spain is six-hours ahead of Eastern Time.
