At one stage during the third round at Quail Hole Club in 2023, 11 players were tied for the top spot.

Wyndham Clark has pulled ahead and is leading the field with 18 holes left. Clark’s 8-under 63 moved him to 16-under for the event and a 2-shot lead after 18 holes.

Xander Schauffele, however, is on his heels. Schauffele shot a 7 under 64 with two bogeys and is second at 14 below. Tyrrell Hatton and Adam Scott, who were tied for the 36 hole lead, are tied for third at 11 under.
