June 1 is here. It’s June 1. Golf fans all over the world are now able to say “maybe this year is the one where I get selected to purchase Masters tickets.”
The Masters badge is one of the most sought-after in all sports. If you are not among the fortunate ones to know someone who knows somebody, then your only options are a) to pay astronomical prices on the secondary market or b), have your name randomly drawn during the Masters ticket application.
From now until the 20th of June, anyone can create a Masters.com account for free and apply to buy tickets. Want-to-be patrons have the option to choose from the Monday or Tuesday practice round, the Wednesday Par 3 Contest, or any one of the four rounds in the tournament, which run Thursday through Sunday. The 2024 Master is April 11-14.
According to Masters.com , “Applicants can apply for all days but are only eligible to win one day.”
If you are lucky enough to be selected, you will pay $100 per ticket for Monday, Wednesday, or Tuesday, or $140 each for the tournament.
The Masters.com website states: “All applicants who have applied will be notified via email in late July when the random selection is complete.”
Dreams do come true, even if it’s not known how many tickets will be distributed. Remember:
Please be reminded that Augusta National, Inc., is the sole authorized seller/source of Masters(r). Reselling any Masters Ticket or Masters Ticketing is strictly forbidden. The Tournament may exclude holders of tickets acquired by third parties.
No tickets are sold at the gate. You must reapply for tickets in 2025 or beyond.
