A shocking announcement was made Tuesday morning. The PGA Tour, DP World Tour, and LIV Golf League have agreed to a partnership in order to “unify the men’s professional game of golf.”
“This is a historic moment for the game that we all love and know,” said PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan. This transformational partnership acknowledges the immeasurable strengths of the PGA Tour’s history, legacy, and pro-competitive models and combines them with the DP World Tour, LIV, and the team golf concept to create an organisation that will benefit the golf’s players and commercial and charitable partners, as well as fans.
