The Wells Fargo Championship is returning to Charlotte, North Carolina for the Wells Fargo Championship. Due to the Presidents Cup being held at Quail Hollow Club later that year, the 2022 edition of the Wells Fargo Championship was forced to TPC Potomac.
Rory McIlroy, the newest winner, has won the Quail Hollow trophy.
McIlroy makes his first appearance on the Tour since missing Augusta National’s weekend nearly a week ago.
World Nos. Scottie Scheffler, world no. 1, and Jon Rahm are taking a week off. The North Carolina stop is the only event that players can miss this season.
